Elevation 27 stands 27 feet above sea level in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach. The building previously occupied by Steppin’ Out, The Jewish Mother and Eagle’s Nest, is now the ideal music and entertainment experience.
In addition to booking national and international artists and bands, Elevation 27 features the best in regional acts, touring exhibits and interactive gaming tournaments.
Elevation 27’s innovative design responds to musicians’ preference for playing to full rooms in smaller venues. With a recording studio floating stage before a spacious open floor, the best sound system in Virginia, theatrical curtains, and an acoustically enhanced interior, Elevation 27 is among the few venues nationwide that ensure sonic perfection for both artists and audiences.
Elevation 27’s chairs, tables, banquettes, and covered outdoor patio provide guests with the option to socialize and watch shows while enjoying food prepared by our Restaurant. Our menu is artfully prepared by Chef Rusty and can be specially tailored for any event.
Elevation 27 is the creation of Bill Reid and business partners Sara and Judd Mendelson and Russell Weitzner. Reid has developed and managed Virginia’s most notable music venues, including the Virginia Beach Amphitheater, the Norva, the Boathouse, the Abyss, Harbor Center, the National, the Classic Amphitheater and Innsbrook After Hours.
